How We Work

Whether we are working with your home or your work environment, the outline process is the same: it consists of the following stages:

Initial Discussion

clipboardAfter we receive your inquiry, we will set up a time to discuss the areas that are of concern to you, any evidence of problems that you have noticed, and what you hope to achieve. We will also discuss the timescale and the process that we will follow.

At the same time, we would like to hear of any factors that you think might have had an impact on the environmental quality of the property, such as recent repairs, damage or local disasters.

Site Visit

Once on site, our inspector will confirm the process to be carried out and go through the property using our state-of-the-art testing equipment to take readings and collect samples. You are welcome to accompany the inspector as he works and he will be happy to explain what he is doing and discuss anything he finds. At the end of the visit, he will give a preliminary review of his findings, based on his visual inspection and the readings he took.

Any samples taken will be sent for laboratory analysis, following a rigorous process to ensure that there is a documented chain of custody and to preserve the integrity of the collections.

Testing

The laboratory results are usually back to us within 2 – 7 days and we then interpret the laboratory data into a more understandable format and prepare a detailed report with our recommendations for any actions that we consider necessary. We are always happy to discuss the implications of any findings for health or safety issues and to clarify comments and suggestions.
